Global superstar and BMG recording artist Kylie Minogue has continued to rise up the charts with her smash hit single ‘Padam Padam’.

In a string of successes for the Australian artist, Minogue on May 30, celebrated her highest chart result in 10 years as ‘Padam Padam’ landed a Number One on the Big Top 40 Chart. Since then, ‘Padam Padam’ has continued to rise on the UK Official Singles Chart, skyrocketing from number 23 to number nine, resulting n her first UK top 10 in 12 years.

Speaking exclusively to Official Charts, Kylie Minogue says: "This is truly amazing, and 19-year-old me would say the same thing! I am so thankful to everyone involved with Padam Padam and am astounded at how people have made it their own. The song belongs to everyone now and I’m loving every second of it."

This latest chart success has coincided with another career milestone for the singer as Minogue has now become the fourth female solo artist to score Top 10 hits across five consecutive decades, joining the ranks of Cher, Diana Ross, and Lulu.

Minogue has always had an extremely dedicated fanbase but in recent years she experienced a renaissance of sorts as her popularity exploded with the success of 2021’s Number One album Disco, and now ‘Padam Padam’.

Minogue made a surprise appearance at Capital’s Summertime Ball at Webley stadium on June 11, where she gave her first UK performance of ‘Padam Padam’ to the amazement of fans, followed up by her iconic hit ‘Can’t Get You Out Of My Head’.

Elsewhere the influence of Kylie knows no bounds as British MP Lloyd Russell-Moyle quoted the hit single ‘Padam Padam’ in an address to Parliament.

In promotion of her upcoming album Tension, Minogue is set to make an appearance on NBC’s The Today Show on Thursday, June 22.
